IF YOU ARE COMING FROM THE NORTH:
Take the "A1" autostrada and exit at "Firenze Certosa". After the ticket gate take the superstrada for Siena and exit at "san donato". at the stop sign start your kilometric counter and turn left heading for "Castellina in Chianti." after exactyly 6 km you will find a road to your right heading for "Monsanto" (here you will also see the sign for Quercia al Poggio). continue along this road for another 5/6km following for monsanto and keeping to the left when in doubt. you will find a dirt road to your right which bears the sign for quercia al poggio (attention as the sign is facing the wrong way). follow this road until the end where you will find our gate and then, after 400 mt, the reception on your left.
IF YOU ARE COMING FROM THE SOUTH:
Take the Firenze/Siena superstrada and exit at "Poggibonsi nord". at the roundabout turn right for "Barberino val d’elsa" but (attention!!!) after only 50 mt turn right to "monsanto-olena" (here you can also find the sign for quercia al poggio). after about 750 mt there’s a cypress in the middle of the road, turn right again following the direction "Monsanto" (there’s another sign for Quercia al Poggio). Continue along this road until you see the sign for Monsanto which is crossed out indicating that you are leaving Monsanto, 100 mt afterthis sign, on the left, there’s a dirt road with our sign. don’t stop at the first group of houses but go straight till the very end of the dirt road. here you’ll find a gate and then, after 400 mt, the reception on your left.
