The farm "Le Colonne" is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the Tuscany. It is surrounded by woody hills with a superb scenic view.

It is a romantic castle with only a few houses and an ancient charch, the romanic "Pieve dei Santi Bartolomeo e Andrea".

The farm includes the villa "Uccelliera", where Paolina Bonaparte was told to meet her lovers, the villa "Sulle soglie del Bosco" and the cottages "Giulia" and "Belvedere".

Fully equipped apartments for 2-4-6 persons are available in the villas, while the cottages are independent units hosting 4-6 persons.

In the neighborhood: hot springs of Montecatini e Monsummano, wonderful trips to the castles in Pescia and Valdinievole valleys (Castelvecchio, Potito, Stiappa, Sorana, San Quirico, Buggiano, Uzzano, Montecarlo...).

Being close to major art towns such as Lucca, Pistoia and Firenze, the farm house "Le colonne" is an excellent starting point for the art tourism. Within the range of 30 min driving also Pisa and the beaches of the Versilia can be reached. A slightly longer drive may lead to the Abetone, Siena and Volterra.

The lovers of the walks in the natural scenarios will find excellent opportunities in our woods.

For the Bridge players evening games, weekly tournaments and training courses are on schedule.

Swimming can also be played in the farm pool. Lastly, not far from our farm there are riding clubs, tennis, golf.
