In the old beautitul Castle of Ripa d'Orcia (XIII sec.), set upon a rise in the centre of Orcia Valley, thanks to a skillful work of renovation, there is nowadays a comfortable country Residence with rooms and apartments ideal for relaxing stays. Ripa d'Orcia with its splendid location, offers tourists who want to visit the beautiful cities of art in Tuscany, Umbria and Northern Latium an ideal place to start.

The Amenities.
The reception, gardens, public telephone, panorarnic terrace, a little restaurant, and an original common living room (the old granary) with fireplace, table games, and books are all available inside the walled enclosure. Recently the ancient wine-cellar has been converted into a tasting room where small groups, on appointement, can taste the Estate production of Orcia Wines and Extra virgin Olive Oil. An unkept parking area is available outside the outer walls.

The Restaurant.
The little restaurant of Ripa d’Orcia is open every night but mondays : the menu’ lets you taste some simple tuscan dishes along with our Estate’s wines.
