Welcome to "La Leopoldina" located in the green Montaione only a few Km away from the more famous San Gimignano.
The building of the "La Leopoldina", entirely in stone and still the original one, dates back to 1700 and was already counted in a census in the "Leopoldino" land register.
Located near the original "Francigena" road (The road that once connected France to Italy) it is close to all the major Tuscan cities.
In the internal recostruction we have used particular care in recycling the original materials where possible.
We have preferred using natural materials such as hand made cotto tiles on the ground floor and in the staircase, and oak parquet flooring on the first and second floor.
The position, unique and spectacular, provides a view at 360°. The villa, located on the top of a hill, 1400 metres away from the main road, is surrounded by a garden of 8000 square metres and by 150 olive trees.
It's a heaven of peace in the green countryside, far from the turmoil of everyday life and at the same time very close to all the major tourist attractions of the area.
