"La Vecchia Cartiera" was originally a paper-mill, producing high quality paper since 1200. Thanks to the numerous windows in the façade, whose purpose was to ventilate and dry the paper, all the apartments and rooms are extremely light and airy.
Located in the centre of the town of Colle val d’Elsa , La Vecchia Cartiera (whose name, translated, means “The Old Paper-mill”) offers its guests a panoramic view of the ancient part of the town which can be reached using a crystal elevator a few steps away from the hotel.
A porter is on duty round the clock. Meeting rooms and inside parking are available to guests.
